Meet The Owner, Laura
Laura grew up in rural Pennsylvania surrounded by animals and has always had an intense love for them. At the age of 19, Laura started her professional career with animals as the Shelter Manager at the local ASPCA and quickly realized she had a natural talent when dealing with fearful animals. This career ultimately brough her to Florida where she decided to train as a pet groomer. In 2003, Laura enrolled at the Florida Institute of Animal Arts in Winter Park Florida. After completing their year long program, Laura began her career as a professional groomer, working at both corporate and private grooming salons, as well as vet clinics. Always striving to improve her knowledge and skill, Laura continually attends grooming seminars and stays up to date on the latest trends in the business. Opening her own salon, where pets are the main focus, has always been her dream. Welcome to Laura’s lifelong achievement – Cat & KaDoodle Pet Grooming!
Meet Regina
Regina began her grooming career in Riverhead Long Island, New York. She has always had a passion and talent for caring for animals and realized that grooming was the perfect career to incorporate her love of animals with her desire to help them stay happy and healthy. Entering the world of grooming in 2016, Regina quickly realized she had a natural knack for it and has only fallen more in love with her career choice. In 2022, Regina moved to Brevard County, Florida where she met and began working with Laura. Instantly recognizing her patience, skill and talent, Laura invited Regina to join her at Cat & kaDoodle, which she happily accepted. Though new to our area, Regina brings a wealth of experience to Cat & kaDoodle and also believes in continuing education and the pursuit of knowledge.
In order to maintain a cage-free environment, our salon offers clean and comfortable doggie suites, in
both medium and large sizes. Our suites are intended for overlapping appointments, not for day-long
use. However, if you know you are unable to pick up your pet within an hour of being notified your
pet’s groom is complete, please notify us to reserve a suite. Any owner who is unable to pick up their
pet within an hour of notification will be charged a $10 suite fee. Our dog suites offer plush dog beds,
clean water, and a safe place to hang out until you arrive.
